Madeleine Korfmacher will give a talk on her recent 8 day mission trip to Nicaragua. She will share pictures, experiences of Nicaraguan joys and struggles. and specific ways you can help. Focus will be on the visits made to various Peaceworks Projects (children's center to help homeless teens, medical and dental clinics, women's support programs to help victims of domestic violence, and micro-lending projects to help impoverished women start their own businesses.) The talk will be held on Saturday evening March 24 (anniversary of assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero) 7-830 pm. The talk is open to the public.
